Hi again Pip, and hello Nemo 96. Don't panic. What is the worst case scenario. Walk/run strategy which is absolutely fine. You will both find that you will most certainly not be the only ones doing that. There will be 10s of 1000s of others using the same strategy. Honestly Pip. You can afford to keep off it this week. Don;t run on it until you have had it looked at. It is easy to panic, but don't. We will keep in touch and will take stock of the situation after you have had it seen. As I say, don't feel compelled to run on it yet. A few days off may really help. You may not get to beat your previous time. But does that really matter. Just being at London is a great thing in itself anyway. There is no pressure on you to have to run it fast. Just to enjoy it.
Nemo76 , do you think you can get your mileage up to 10 miles this weekend ?
thanks Kiwi. makes me feel better, I gave myself a talking too and am so determined to carry on with it ......... and I suppose still have time hopefully to get a long [ ish] run in. it was all going so well too,
Don't worry Pip. Still time. Off to Cyprus today, so will try and touch base over there if poss. Depends on the internet connection. Back next Wednesday anyway, so will see how you are progressing. Speak soon.
