A few of us have been wondering if there's anywhere as central that isn't as rammed as Chandos gets?

Thoughts or we just go with tradition and I get the person closest to the bar to get me a drink.

I went up to Coventry garden area last time it was a good walk to warm down and quite a bit quieter.
What I also did was get a mate to track me on the website so he could get a close idea on a finish time. He could then meet me at the finish with a pint.

Being able to get to the bar in less than 20 mins would be nice

Chandos is so busy and a pain to get served but at least its central.  I think every in the area is the same.

Wasn't it at some hotel before Chandos?

Londons not exactly short of bars, some of the best are hidden in back streets though.

So is it a challenge between now and April to try a few out because if you need a volunteer.....

Everyone go to Yates's in Leicester Square.  Then I won't have to queue so long for my Sam Smith's.

Or that Wetherspoon's up Charing Cross Road.  Shit pub, massive space = bound to have spare seats.
