One of my favourite running pics. It's Beacon Hill Trail Run again... I love the view in this pic ... and also see that the pack of runners chasing me? They didn't catch me

Looks like an awesome course... but disappointed with the socks in this pic though - positively sombre

I think I saved them for the Parkrun the next day! Can't let them make too many public appearances, y'know!

How's the giving up bacon coming along?

09/12/2012 at 00:02

That's fully dependent on my getting chosen - you want your fair share, you'd better get voting

09/12/2012 at 10:15

This sounds like a good deal! ... Vote for Steve, get paid in bacon.

Sounds like a bit of a win / win situation to me!

Bacon for all!

Im so jealous, I want a treadmill for those emergency runs.....were currently trying to sell our house, its too small for most things, let alone a treadmill!

Tony, a 10m run on the coastpath....im envious. Im waiting until I get back home this evening to go for my run....dont know what to do with myself at the moment at my inlaws (whilst everyone is still in bed)....well I know what im supposed to be doing, reading those journals I brought with me to read, but im destracted on here now!

Hi Sarah - Eek! Hope the house sells well ... and for lots of lovely money! I've got  some intervals on the treadmill later so will plug myself into a good audiobook to stave off the boredom!

Down at Silverstone earlier, driving some 4x4s ... so thought I'd wear my customised T-shirt! In case you can't see what it says, " Vote Sarah F in Asics 26.2 on www.RunnersWorld.co.uk" ... Thought it was worth a shot!

 Check out the awesome car!!

For a runner who struggles to add any speed, your devotion is inspiring. If only I had as much dedication!
09/12/2012 at 18:46

Simon - Just treat yourself to a mince pie every 2.5 miles ... it's amazing how much dedication a treat at the end of a run adds! Thanks for the lovely message!

09/12/2012 at 21:06

Hope you had a fab day at Silverstone! What was you r 10k in the car??

That orange string that looks like spaghetti? It's electrified. And did I mention I was soaking wet?

Finally finished. Never been so happy to see a pint of beer in my life.

3rd woman too! Woo!

09/12/2012 at 21:38

That race looks completely amazing!! And respect to you for finishing as 3rd woman! When is the next one?

09/12/2012 at 21:43

Steve - Ha ha! A LOT quicker! Took out a 4x4 today - really good fun! Had a roof on though so didn't get covered in mud! Just been out for a cheeky night time 4 mile run now. Not as cold as I' thought it would be and no ice so happy with that!

Sarah - You're only saying that to get my vote I deliberately posted a poor quality pic so you can't tell I'm actually gurning in the picture
