Where is London Marathon entry to add Review? - Spring Marathon

Hi all,

Have searched but can't find the London Marathon entry to add a review. This is bizarre and I can't be alone as there are no other reviews in the most recent either.

Great race and amazing crowd support - would love to add a review.

Still not there - come on Runner's World how are we supposed to add a review. London deserves some credit for a great event.

I think most people know what the London Marathon is like (either from experience or reading about it) - do we really need squillions of reviews on it, which will no doubt all be saying pretty much the same thing?

Surely reviews are only useful if they tell you something you didn't know?

A review is definitely necessary. If you are not interested, do not read it. I for one have put in lots of hours and miles preparing for it and would like to know how others have got on and if they agree that Canary Wharf was difficult with the crowd encroaching on the road to narrow what is already a tight bit of the route. This could be looked at for future runnings.

Personally I think it is a chance for me to pass on my thanks for the best organised race I have run and to the thousands of supporters who lined the course and cheered us on. Sure we all know what it is like but what's wrong if London end up getting the 'best marathon' (or close to) accolade if they deserve it?

The Events on RW (and consequently the ability to add a Review), are not posted by Runners World but by the event organisers themselves, essentially in order to promote their event..... not really something VLM needs to do !

Edited to say - I'm sure, if you want to pass on comments, feedback, thanks etc, there is probably the means to do so via the VLM website.

The London Marathon has not added its event to Runner's World Event system. That's way its not there for you to review.

Thanks Happychap - I did search but nothing came up. Looking at the link and I see no one has managed to add a review for 2011 either. Just tried and it does not allow you to add anything for 2011...

Juliefrazz and Kryten are absolutely right - it is the event organisers who add events to RW listings, rather than the RW team.
