Hi all. Am I the first back to report on the day?
Well, it was very wet...but that didn't stop it from being great fun. The support around the course was fantastic - perhaps a little thinner than last year, but that could only be expected with the weather.
I was happy with my time of 3:19.
But...most excitingly...I touched Jonny Wilkinson and Matt Dawson at mile 23!!! They were handing out lucozade sport and they were lovely.
I also passed Nell McAndrew around then too - she looked like she was running well.
A big thanks to all the organisers/ marshalls/ drinks station people for an excellent day.
