Looks like you also had a nice double and weights session Fiona, with regards to doubling up the tempo runs thats the aim at the moment the first one on the Tuesday is the main one the others I'm off pace and unable to maintain it for the full length however this will come so that I can maintain it over all four sessions but it's bloody hard work at the moment.
First of two sessions done this morning just over 6 miles
Fiona- you had better sort out that 7.26 pace too- either to 7.30 or 7.15 I thought it was cold here, but the temperature has rocketted to zero this evening Off for a plod in a bit
NP- Mainly base miles here with a bit of tempo running now and again. Speed will come later

Well I just love this time of year pre base building plan in place and starting to feel like 2:5x:xx is possible if I stick to my plan i even like running in the dark and cold...
It takes all sorts. Give me a hot sticky summer evening with a tempo run any day.

No run for me yesterday as home from work too late - 10:45pm I'll try to get a short run in tonight before the Xmas party. I hope the snow shifts before tomorrow's run for the car!
I don't mind cold weather training once I'm out and warmed up (dark and mist is best!)

90 minutes hot yoga, then a tentative easy 2 miles on the treddie. Occassional complaint from the knee, but not real pain. Will take it easy for a few days...
