Fiona- you had better sort out that 7.26 pace too- either to 7.30 or 7.15 I thought it was cold here, but the temperature has rocketted to zero this evening Off for a plod in a bit
NP- Mainly base miles here with a bit of tempo running now and again. Speed will come later
The end is in sight. Fizz says I can go back to running "once I feel no pain doing one-legged squats". So what's your address NP?
I'm just sticking to the weekends at the mo.
That's great news.
Well done on everyone's training.
5+ miles pre meal out this evening
NP - some steady miles going in

You know what my motivation is like during the winter !
Well I just love this time of year pre base building plan in place and starting to feel like 2:5x:xx is possible if I stick to my plan i even like running in the dark and cold...
It takes all sorts. Give me a hot sticky summer evening with a tempo run any day.
NP hope the arm eases off, you might have to stay off the rough ground for a bit, don't want to fall!!
No run for me yesterday as home from work too late - 10:45pm I'll try to get a short run in tonight before the Xmas party. I hope the snow shifts before tomorrow's run for the car!
I don't mind cold weather training once I'm out and warmed up (dark and mist is best!)
NP glad the plaster's off and well done on the double...building well
OH nice 5 miler
Fiona hope the run goes ok tonight and enjoy the party
90 minutes hot yoga, then a tentative easy 2 miles on the treddie. Occassional complaint from the knee, but not real pain. Will take it easy for a few days...

Wet roads= no slipping, no rain either= perfect 8m easy done and dusted. 100m round trip planned for tomorrow for my first Parkrun! Not expecting too much- been a long time since I ran anything faster than 6 min miling...

Are You race jase

Hope you get better soon.
Hot yoga sounds fun! Having done yoga before I know it can be really tough.
thanks - have we met
Well that was a disappointment! Aber parkrun turned out to be my worst 5k for AGES. Don't know if it was the fact that i haven't slept much for the last 2 nights, but I just couldn't get out of second gear. I have had faster and longer tempo runs lately!!!! Oh well, a morning out.... 5k in 19.09
