I've signed up for the Disney World Goofy race and half challenge. Its a half marathon on Sat followed by a full marathon on the Sunday. The races are in jan 2012 so Ive got time to train myself up.
I have done 4 half Marathons so far with 2 more booked this year but not done a full marathon. Ive got a marathon program to follow for 20 weeks leading up the January but Im wondering how to prepare for the double whammy.
Im thinking I should maybe be adding some back to back runs during training but wary if I'm training for a full im going to be getting pretty tired and dont want to risk injury.
Im just interested in your thoughts on how you guys would approach this ???
