In six weeks my husband is due to run a marathon. Unfortunately he's been injured and ordered not to run (or do any other cardio exercise) for the last 4 weeks. Before that he was following a training schedule and was on track to do a 3.45 hour marathon. He's a fit person normally and this is not his first marathon. Has anyone any suggestions for a six week training schedule that will at least get him round? He really doesn't want to give up!
You could try a SmartCoach schedule (have a look under the Training tab, above).
That allows you to specify your event, and how long the schedule should be, etc.
I'd also suggest that your husband discuss this with his doctor.
