Well done Dustboy, glad you are still going! And well done to your 7 year old, that's great. They'll be doing the challenge next year!
Hi Ultra, been on any of your little races lately?!
Ooooh Shmaggle that was too late for me.....well I had just gone to bed!
Um, last mara was 2nd Dec, next one is 13th Jan, then in Feb 2 Ultras. Just ticking over you know
Crikey, you do run a lot! Am trying to plan at the mo, before the FLM in April...there's the Canterbury 10 (mile) soon, a couple of half marathons I can't choose between (one is Paddock Wood and comes highly recommended) and the Thanet 20 at end of Feb, trying to psyche myself up for that after the Thanet 10 was so hard! It's a bit different from doing the marathon where there's lots of charity fun runners etc and it doesn't matter if I have to stop and walk....
How much running do you do in a week, you must train a lot? And how do you find the time!
Would only take a couple of hours PloddingOn.
Shmaggle......................I have a club place for FLM, you never know I may see you!
I probably train a lot less than you think as I cant do too many miles in a week before injury hits, thats why I like to swim and bike too.
I guess 30m a week tops. Have been off this week though and my tally since xmas day is 47......going to x train for a bit as niggles starting.
Yeh I am looking at pools and costs in my area again. I keep doing this to myself, but it's definitely something I want to do.
Yeh it was in September.
Which means that discussing it now is wishing away next summer....
Will do it in August...
