but im fine today

I'm really enjoying my race free period now, but I found the racing harder this year, that's cos I didn't get the training in. Mentally a lot harder too.

Good to hear you're feeling fine today.

Another week and you'll be fine, HR will be nice and low then.

I'm doing to run to Dartmoor on Sunday from my home - different part than DD course, 24 miles round trip with long uphill stretch from 8m to 12m. Longest training run I ever do.

ooh blimey
24 miles is a LONG way
14/06/2006 at 12:45
24 feet is a long way for me at the mo ;-)

Brutal physio last night lots of stretching today...

Hope you are all well

Oh, and actually managed to do some weight training this morning :-)
14/06/2006 at 13:21
hope thats progress DF
14/06/2006 at 14:45 least I could take my frustration out on some large (well actually not very large) lumps of metal ;0)
14/06/2006 at 14:49
I just hope its not too long till you get sorted
14/06/2006 at 14:53
Hippo - 24m would be a 'short' one for you after the last couple of weeks.

Hi BT'ers, Hows it going?

DF - sorry to hear about your woes

Hipps - Liked your photo, glad to put a face to a nickname!

My next challenegs are multi sport race in Aug, Duathlon in Aug then the big coast2coast in Oct. Doing lots of biking, running and kayaking and doing it at BT rates. Will move up in a few weeks when I start the speed stuff.

Have fun.

Day 80-----------
19/06/2006 at 15:14
Hippo - how's the training going now? Have you recovered from DD/SiS?

I'm enjoying my BT again, but still taking a rest day when I feel I need it. And today have recorded lowest RHR ever. When i started BT my RHR was 58 (and I was running marathons/ultras at the time), RHR then dropped to 52 after 3 months of BT and now down to 50.

Shades-no, i havent, not really
my pace is right down
im going through a tired phase again-but it will pass
19/06/2006 at 18:18
Doesn't matter if your pace is down, it's been hot and i expect you've been trying to run too fast.
19/06/2006 at 18:20
not at all
I CANT run "fast"
too breathless

the off road 10k probably didnt help

its time to shoot for 50mpw
