Alehouse - nurse practitioner said that as it was viral antibiotics no use and she didn't think that steroids were indicated - though I think they would be good idea. May contact the surgery tomorrow (they have a morning surgery) and see if whoever is on will prescribe. It certainly doesn't seem to be getting any better on its own. I can cough a lung up sitting on the sofa, laying in bed or walking Grace so I'm not sure quite what running would do!
