I have a Polar RS300X and am planning to upgrade to a GPS but looking online is confusing!

Can any of you lovely runners offer any advice? - I don't want a Garmin as I had one that broke after 5 uses.......

also I have a Polar chest strap so if I got a Polar GPS would I need a new chest strap?
