Interval training

Can anyone recommend me the sort of interval session that I ought to incorporate as part of my training? I`m racing a 10-miler soon but my main target is a half. Thanks!

My current training schedule is for a half marathon, and has intervals of 1 mile reps with 0.5 mile jogs, total session 5-6 miles so far.
