For those in need of mid-week training parners, I and two or three friends run Mondays (fast), Wednesdays (hills) and Fridays (easy) at 06:45 round the Wilen Lake area - never finishing later than 7:30 as we've all got things to get back for!

I tend to do long runs on Saturday mornings, but can't manage it for the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know the details next time I'm running long and local!

I'm heading off to get married and honeymoon shortly, but would be up for a long run (10m+) on Sat 24 April. Nothing too fast please!

Deadly serious, M! I'm guessing you're not a morning person.

If it helps, my Saturday runs are normally at some civilised time like 9:00 or 11:00.

2 years of getting up every weekday at 4.30am for work has put me off mornings forever i'm afraid!

however when i eventually get myself another job i guess i'll certainly have to consider doing some training in the mornings

i had an interview in MK today so fingers crossed etc!!!!

06:45 M. - you know it makes sense!

Enjoy the run Carl - I'll be driving past you in a few minutes.

13 miles sounds very tempting, but I don't run Thursdays. In fact, once I start my Tuesday runs after Silverstone I'll only be resting Thursdays and Sundays.

(M. - if you're interested, I'll probably be sarting my Tuesday runs a little earlier to get more miles in - 06:15?!)

I can only do a long run on Sunday although during the week I have been going out at just before 08.00 for an hour.I was going to go to the gym tonight for some interval training on the treadmill but far too tired. Can't decide whether to go fast or slow tomorrow.I want to do a fast one but I'll wait until I get up and see how I feel.

lol we all seem to run on different days, though Ive my long run sceduled for a Friday (has to be that way to fit in all the other trainingim doing and so I dont have long days back to back). Swapped run from Fri this weekso im fresh for a group bike ride on Saturday.

This is (or was the plan for next week) though again will need jiggling around at im planning a 10 mile TT bike and 10 mile run (bucks bunny) next Friday.

Mon – Gym (40 mins) & Swim (2 x 22 lengths)
Tue – Bike (35 miles)
Wed – Swim (35 lengths) & Run (7 miles)
Thur – Bike (1 hour)
Fri – Swim (40 mins) & Run (14 miles)
Sat (Rest)
Sun – Bike (55 miles)

Just got back from my 2hr run (about 13 miles), went from tattenhoe along the brook then accross and through Newton Longville, through Bletchley, along Watling Street, past the Bowl, round the hockey Stadium and back along teardrop lakes, Furzon lake and then home. Was a new route, made it up as I wnet along and was jut adding bits in to make up to 2hrs, might go and measure it on my bike next week.

Mind if I pass - Tuesday is club night. Otherwise I'd be there for sure.

You shouldn't be going out clubbing so soon after a Marathon, not with all those lights and the loud music.

That's 6:15 in the morning, M. You'll be well recovered by the evening!

Went out on my first bike ride with some of Team MK today (slower group), they are a really friendly bunch, including riding to and from the meeting point I did 54miles (4 hours) really suprised myself.

If any of you guys fancy watching some top class racing tomorrow it's the southern 12 stage road relay (6 stages of 3.5 and 6 stages of 5 miles) from the OU, and south of Walton Hall (round Caldecotte Lake)

a good place to watch is Simpson Road.

You've probably all got far better things to do with your sundays but just thought I'd give it a plug!

Thanks Mike, think our company's Gym Instructor Toni Natale is running for MKAC, or so he said he might when we spoke on Friday.

Unfortunatly im going to Derby for the day tomorrow and have an early start as I would have liked to have watched and supported.
