RFJ - handicap races are fun aren't they - haven't run one for years.

JH, well done at Edinbra

What: 6ml easy (I'd call it recovery if I had anything much to recover from)
Why: easy day before hard work starts tomorrow

Great results from Comrades DD and SD.
Hilly 2nd place, another podium day.
JH: I think that you should be very pleased with the Edinbugular run, forget the time and just compare your self against other stats, such as rivals, or what the people around you did at previous races, or maybe your finishing position.
RFJ: I'm a fan of handicap races too. You did put in a supreme effort to get to that position.

For me: nothing at the weekend as it was decorating time again. But today I'm in a hotel, so I've just done 11 miles in glorious Welsh Wales. I found this footpath along the (un)pleasantly titled Crymlyn Bog that turned out to be brilliant, then followed a disused canal into Swansea and finally onto the H-U-G-E beach before returning. One of those memorable runs because I wasn't expecting it to be quite so glorious.

Blisters: glad to see you are still alive! Spoke with Nick P whilst we were both marshalling at local 5 last Monday: first time I've managed to catch up with him for at least 18 months! Anyway, what have you got planned? Abingdon? Anything in this area?
