All the leaves and brown and the sky is grey

Or maybe it just feels that way when you are back at work and your family is still swanning around on holiday.  

what: 60mins easy round the bays. Warm but windy.
why: standard Monday recovery session. My running partner raced a half ironman yesterday so it was actually quite an easy pace for once!

LMH - good luck with Brass Monkey. Half marathon is a good distance I think.

M - some recovery ..an hour!! welldone to the OH tho' on the halfIM.
Echo LmHs comment, still dark, but London surprisingly mild again today. Train into town busy though (even at 6am) , I guess those that shut down for the festivities all back today.
what - physio tonight , will jog home from that , so a painful hour followed by an easy 15 minutes...
why - legs need it.

Why: driving back to Germany last night was very knackering and my whole body hurts from dancing in heals at the wedding on Saturday night!

parkrun on Saturday was very slow.  I'm not sure whether it's due to the slippery conditions, or my condition...I'm hoping it's not too much of the latter...

Evening all,

Been busy with work, and most of my spare time has been fitting in plenty of running, so not getting online as often.

Nothing today though, did 8 miles yesterday, and gotta be up at 4am tomorrow for work, so rest day it is!

Club sessions start again tomorrow, so will be back to normal from now on.

Hope everyone is well.

Lyrics - yup!

Ran 3 miles in 25:46 - nice and easy - still not completely over the 'flu' I had at the weekend so sweated like never before while running! 

Was back to work today too - am now Deputy Head of my school so it was a very busy in-service day for me.  Fairly tired this evening!

Easy training day: managed 35 minutes on the bike in the garage. Minutes, not miles. That will do.
