Rhayader 20 is a classic!! Same as doing a long run, but slightly quicker!!

Not sure about the team prize in the MT10 - but should be? Sub 1 hour for you then??

Are you doing the pudding run?

14/11/2010 at 20:15

Totally agree about Rhayader but my coach has a change of plan this year. And after listening to you all and getting the time I had in Abo I'm going to put extra faith in you all this time.

Would love to get sub 1 hour but the best I have so far is 67:55 so will be a bridge too far this time I think!! but never say never

15/11/2010 at 00:25
Sub 62 at least then?
15/11/2010 at 07:25
I'll give it a go.

hi all

15/11/2010 at 14:57

Hi FM - I take it you don't like the 2k intervals then?

15/11/2010 at 15:19

hi FF

no don;t like 2k they don;t feel like speedwork more like helli think speedwork should be from 200m to 1mile any more and its a bit of a tempo run then.

having a rest day today lot of beer last night but i did get 65miles in last week

15/11/2010 at 15:47

FM - You drinking lots of beer! Surely not.......!!! I've got a nasty wine habit's all part of my five a day, well it does originate from grapes.

I find all intervals unpleasant. Trouble is, it's the only way to get speedy in races.

65 miles is good......

Are you doing the MT10 at the weekend? If so, I'll see you there.

15/11/2010 at 18:57
FF no MT10 for me i will be onthe beer againmy next race is the ab10k on the 5/12/10 looking for a new PB there .if its not windy
15/11/2010 at 19:55

alright chaps.

NST , me and FL were chatting tonight and recon we should enter our team as BP for Aber 10k? What your recon?

15/11/2010 at 21:29

Evening all

FM, sorry mate but I did my speedwork with Brynster tonight!!! He did text you to come with us. I will be running tomorrow but not sure where and how far.

Brynster, thanks for the session tonight mate. Much better with company.

FF, how you doing down there?

NST, how you doing up there?

15/11/2010 at 22:33

Didn't get home until gone 7p.m. because of a hold up on the link road from Cardiff By the time I'd changed, run, showered I wasn't having tea until 9p.m. and I got a soaking.

Brynster with all these speed sessions we'll be calling you Haille. What intervals did you run?

BP Team - don't mind really, why not PTH though? But if BP are sponsoring the team and paying appearance money I'm definitely fully supportive of the idea.

16/11/2010 at 00:14
Brynster - I reckon we enter as Fulcher's Fine Window Furnishing
16/11/2010 at 07:23

NST, sounds good, but will they allow dodgy building businesses

FF, there was only business teams aloud last year! don't know if its changed this year?

Last nights session was 2x1200 and 4x800. 9 mile total with the run down and back.

Checkout the Team entry info from the Race organiser for Aber 10k

Hi Andrew, Thanks for your e-mail and look forward to your participation. In the team category there has to be a minimum of three participants and it is the total time of all the team runners then averaged by the number of runners that go to finding the winning team. Team runners will not be eligible for any other prizes. CARL. From: andrew reynolds []

Myself and a few other runners from Port Talbot Harriers plan on running as a Business Team this year under Fulcher's Fine Window Furnishing. Can I confirm if this is possible?

16/11/2010 at 21:26
That's the same as last year mate. If you enter that then if one of you win a position place you cant claim it! Its a very strange setup. Best we just do the same as last time and sign in individually.
