hi guys a quickie does anyone know where i can get a database for running one that is available on the net but not kept on the net(i.e i am not just supplying information to a marketing company)

I use the RW training log given away free each year.
Cheaper than Oracles suggestion (unless you don't buy the mag anyway !)

You could try using www.badlytrainedmonkey.com its on the net, but I created it for myself to keep a log of my training. It's free to use as you wish.
