BT; Port is fine as long as the course has left turns only!

A lot of relatively important races tomorrows it seems Good luck all.
TT, if you are a stone over and hope for 2.45 you'll be flying at goal weight.

What: 16m on 'T'

Why: foregoing xc tomorrow 'cos only just got over food poisoning on Sat evening. Might feel tempted to run though!

Hippo, It's a Vision Fitness 8600. Cost aroun £3000 two years ago. If you are planning on doing a lot or treadmill work it's worth buying a semi-professional model. They tend to be quieter and have a much larger running area. They usually don't 'fold up' so you'll need a dedicated running room or put it in the garage.
I'm sure there are better machines than mine around now. It's worth looking at the USA. I could have bought mine for almost £1000 less and shipping it over isn't that expensive.

Well an easy day today ie I did nothing, partly because I woke with a sore throat and thought better of going out for a run, but also I had had rather a lot of wine the previous night so felt a bit dizzy.

I spent this evening constructing my costume for the fancy dress x country. Tomorrow I will become Adam Ant, (Stand and Deliver video- although Antmusic is better, but still better than Goody Two Shoes) Even did the cloak but will discard that for the rrace as I think the Darth Maul robe from two years ago cost me at least 3 places.

Is that the outcome of your kit meeting then?

Welcome back Belfast Phil, best wishes with your training.

If anyone is looking for a treadmill and is in the midlands contact the auctioneers Arthur Johnson in NOttm, they have regular auctions of second hand gym equipment.
