There was a letter in the Lancet recently about this sort of statement.

surely as one cause of death decreases another cause must increase.

I also thought that you could only drink tea, not eat it, so the title "10 foods you should eat every day" is a bit of a misnomer.

Good to know that I am now varying percent less likely to die of any cause depending on my intake of food and amount of daily exercise.

I think we are all 100% certain to die of some cause no matter what we eat or drink. That's Kemp's point

Imagine being immortal though. At what point would it dawn on your that that would be the worst possible fate imaginable? Or would you learn through eons of time to live with it? I suppose you wouldn't have any choice.

Perhaps that's the way things actually are. We're not going to know any different are we? The Big Bang wasn't the start of everything, just a time when lots of shit was going down. That's what I reckon. Read Spinoza.

You should have read the rest of the sentence before writing that.. They were refering to the 7years after the trial not forever !!!!!!

Not sure how drinking tea helps you avoid getting hit by a bus but there you go.

Well, if you're making and drinking tea somewhere, it will keep you away from the road and thence from interacting with said bus....unless of course you are drinking the tea whilst crossing the road, and then it could be said to increase the chance somewhat.

The caffeine in the tea will help keep you more alert and aware of traffic around you, including buses.
