The Sunday 20 milers are ace, but be prepared to experience the "saggy arse shuffle" and don't make appointments for Sunday afternoons.
I followed schedules from www.halhigdon.com after reading his book.
There's a good few training sections in these forums.
In the same boat and it seems teh long run is the most important single run/session.
Mind you that's not surprising.
