Just coming back to running after 8 weeks out. And I've just done 4 miles....lonest run since the marathon where said injury occurred. Yay! I'm running again! Whoooop! I got a stitch. I had an ache in my shoulders. I was slow. I sweated like a sweaty thing. But it felt GREAT! And I felt like sharing. Thank you.

Excellent news! I've been out for 13 months (knackered knee!) and have managed three runs this week for the first time since injury. It feels good, doesn't it?!

good news K.

You need to try and bottle those feelings when you were injured and use them to appreciate each run going forward...easier said than done as we take it for granted often.

Sarah - good for you! Yay!

Steve - Yep! It is so easy to take it all forgranted. Will try and remember!

Seren - yay!

K, agreed, especially before a hard or long run...very hard to remember it was even worse to not even be able to do them!

EXECELLENT NEWS. Been out for 6 weeks, going to give it a whirl on sunday. I've become a fat beast and I don't like very much(except the eating part of course).
