So this January I'm going to be starting to train with London Heathside running club on tuesday nights. The only speed work I've done in the past has been basic stuff on treadmills or fartlek work outside.
I've got my marathon time down to 3.08.59 this year in London and just wondered how much improvement other people have had from a proper organised speed programme. It's a side of running I know very little about but I'm excited to get involved. I've pretty much trained for all my four marathons off my own back so will be good to have more of a social side.
Would like to break or get down to 3hrs in Rotterdam next April.
