Feeling a bit better today.  Have been back to the doc this morning and she poked around some more and has given me antibiotics.  Have to go again on Friday.  Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon.  Upside is, I get a day off work

I managed to fit 6 miles in after work - but only by running 3 of them about as fast as I could!

Chick indeed, if the good Lord had meant men to shop why would he have created the internet?

Compromise of 5.7 miles run then met Els, with intention of shopping, but went for a coffee instead (with a token 30 minutes shopping afterwards)
- Yes shops are still closing at 5/5:30 here)

emzap - problem with sick days off work is tyhat you usually can't use them as days off. Hope you're fit again soon.

think I wnet for a run at the warmest time today at 0630.... was lovely (cold) but much colder later it felt. Anyway a nice 12.5k's done, as hadn't changed my watch over from Sundays race...

Played football (4-a-side) in the gym for the 1st time in 4 years I think last night.... knackered, as was away last night at a works conference.... hope it willl be another 4 years now....

What? Too bally cold for a run, and thick freezing fog so no bike. Went for my planned swim, trying to see if I could achieve the breakthrough that LMH was promising. Worked quite hard, and at the mile stage I was...45 mins 15 seconds. Again. Tried pushing onwards towards the hundred lengths, but suddenly started to get tight shoulders and quite at 82L, just over the hour. 2000m.
