Good morning....I'm sitting up waiting to get a glimpse of Santa (fat bloke in a red suit) listening to Kirsty and The Pogues...so what's an old man to do....obscure lyrics:

Well, I"m gonna call that number,
So far across the sea,
I wish I was in London,
That's where I wanna be.

This song was played over the closing credits of BBC Olympic final broadcast.

Back later when I've opened my prezzies!

Happy Christmas everyone

Morning

Merry Christmas to all on here.

Loaded with cold so just walking geordie today to burn off calories.

Morning all, Merry Christmas

Birk  hope the cold clears soon.
LMH  you know how you can make the flour and butter into "breadcrumbs" with a food processor?  Well that failed, so I ended up with a butter and flour paste, then just added eggs, sugar, cocoa and baking powder and voila, a chocolate cake!

What: maybe a run, maybe a walk
Why: legs a bit stiff from yesterday, need to see what they're capable of today

Have a good one, enjoy the turkey and presents.

What: Turkeython
Why: It's that time

Pastry with a food processor, emzap
That's where it went wrong
Still en croute is overrated save as a showpiece

Looking lovely kayaking weather today but will have to see if it lasts until the morn

Happy Birthday Jesus, and my Mum.

Lyrics, er no.

Training? Well,,,,, normally I'd run down to Church for midnight Mass, (1.5mile) then run home today (5 mile: indirect route). Since I joined the choir I decided that it wasn't really the done thing for 2nd Bass to arrive in sweaty lycra and trainers.
Today has been neither sober nor calorie-light.
However, I am now the proud owner of a box. A box that contains a torture machine. One that I clamp the bike into. I actually do enjoy biking, but I really don't like getting piss wet through and frozen.

Plan A was for a 20 mile run tomorrow.
I did a 7 yesterday and now have DOMS. Shock to the system or what?
Plan B is for a social bimble. Plan B Wins.
