Morning

Oh the wind whistles down
The cold dark street tonight

Up early to work before going to other work and then off to Lake Constance to find I didn't need to get up early as there's not much to do. 

What: 3 miler
Why: have time and will be the last run before Sunday.  Think we're going to hike tomorrow as well though
Last hard: getting out of bed
Last rest: yesterday

Hoping this getting a cold feeling goes away by Sunday.  It's now irritating!

Hope you get some answers Literin.
Ale 38 mins is a lot considering all the building work you're doing at the moment

morning all

slap myself for the lyrics yesterday, and maybe today as well!

had an ok race last night, 4 times up a horrid hill in the dark on a cycle track! Garmin conked out so not a clue of times, maybe 27, not sure what I usually do, will check....

ooh just checked last year same time same race - 30.30.  So I should be happy!

lmh, I couldn't get up to bike this morning, although it didn't look nice at 6.00

hmm, dunno what happened to the rest of my post?
back on HR, mine use dto go up beyond 160 in fairly short order (RHR ~40), but to keep to 70-75% effort, invariably had to slow to a walk. Perhaps I'll invest in a new one, and see what happens.
what - short run
why - precaution: clubs 7x800s last night, felt sorehamstring on rep 1, so used that and rep 2 as steady (extended) warm up, 3, 4 & 5 all a bit harder, and 6 & 7 proper stuff. Felt really tight afterwards, but OKish today.

My hour on the bike turned into a run with Grace as although it's topped raining the roads are still rather wet and I have the opportunity to ride tomorrow morning - when I hope it will be drier.

Lyrics, yes, and a really good catchy tune from one of the moderns.

Dustin, you lose the rest of your post if you utilise a greater than or lesser than symbol.

Bits of me are tight (my wife says "pockets"), so in the good name of tapering I decided to trash any session I might have had time for tonight. There were a few odd jobs to do around the place anyway.

Tomorrow is another day. Have a good one everyone. Even if it rains, it's not that cold winter rain yet.
