What : 1.25mile jog to gym into strong headwind (9:34)
Gym 500m warm up then 6*800m at 10mph/16kmph
with 200m recoveries at walk/slowjog pace (5-7mph) , 750m warm down
all in all on the treadmill 7.25kms/4.5 miles in 32.23
1.25mile jog home,light tail wind (9:21)

Thanks Laura!! I know, I know, must listen more to my body, but...........

Drew hope you're feeling well again soon-take it easy! Says me!

Anyhow did marathon paced 10 miles and HONEST Laura felt absolutely fine. In fact the pace felt relatively easy.

Intend not to run tomorrow though. Looking forward to a relaxing swim instead.

Hi everyone, good news about the knee MartinH, sorry about the 'flu Drew, sounds like everyone else is doing great things.

What: cross-training in the pool, 200 metres warmup, 1500 metre easy swim, 200 metres cooldown.

Why: melting ice & slush making it too dangerous for me to run. Hopefully it will be all gone by tomorrow evening.
Last easy: yesterday.
Last hard: should be tomorrow's speedwork.

got out late from work (recreating some corrupt indexes) & had the shopping to do. V nearly dipped out of a run altogether.

However...reluctantly....
3.8 miles easy - well the second half - coming back downwind - was, anyway.
The joys of living on the coast.
