When to start training

I intend to complete Edinburgh 09 in May and then attempt San Francisco on 26th July.

Is two weeks rest about right?

About what mileage would it be right to resume training at?

I currently run about 40+ miles (6 days) a week. I hope to complete the marathons under 3.30hrs

Any advice please
