Someone has to shout about this and she won't do it herself. We have a world class runner in our midst. Not only does she have the best UK half mara times this year for her age group, she has just run a fabulous 5k in Hyde Park in 22:46. This gives her an age-graded percentage of 92.8. This is world class. To give you an idea of what it means a young bloke, age 22 for instance would have to run his 5k in13:54 to be as good. Ok even if you think the age graded percentages are a bit soft, there is no arguing with her 92.8%
She is world class as last year she finished 5th in the World for 5000m's on Track and 9th in the World for 1500m's on Track. Her 10k time gives her an age related grading of over 91%
And she is JUST LOVELY too.
Yes, she is an Over 60. But she is getting faster all the time.
