I still need to get compensation from the Post Office as otherwise I would be standing the loss personally. There is no reason for either of us to be out of pocket when this has arisen to due loss within the postal system
If you did not over order and have any spare then, to be honest, as it is around a £3 loss for me, I simply don't think it is worth chasing this up with the Post Office any more. It will cost more than that in time and money so I will put it down to experience.
We have both got better things to worry about. And I am sure my car will not miss a sticker.
However, may I suggest that looking forward, with volumes of kit requests increasing etc, and you doing this in your own personal time etc as you explained above, you might consider some for of insurance? Not for stickers which are a drop in the ocean, but some of the Pirate kit which is pricey and if people order one or more items, the total price can mount up. I think if I had paid £whatever for kit I might be less understanding of the failings of the Post Office.
