My grandson Josh who was 11 at the time was on the feed station last year with me , he was on bottle filling and banana duties and he had a great time, just make the kids aware that the bikes are moving through pretty fast so to take care.

Please post if there are any mistakes, especially camping and the swim as names will be going to OSB shortly.  Thanks

my kids might be there too if possible (not sure yet as we are just arranging transport and seeing who else from my family is coming down).  they did the DIY feed station and had a great time.

i had actually got Slagiatt on my list but for some reason the 'cut' wouldn't overwrite a previously saved version.  Have added camping and swimming for him now

BM as Seren said only you and Slag know your kids and how they will handle 6 odd hours st a feed station, at that ages I can't see it as a problem, there's lots to do and I reackon they will have a great time I do think the final word is down to Barlos who is organising the thing

Never ever let Barlos have the final word

Thanks Shmunks. But just to keep you on your toes, could you put me back to a 1500m swim please?  Prolly won't get back to the lake before Outlaw so will stick at what I know I can do.

Two deadlines for you to be aware of:

If you want to swim or camp we need to submit the list to OSB next Friday 21st.  Schumks is doing a great job of maintaining it but it will be sent next Friday so we'll have to cut-off changes as-of midnight next Thursday.

Swimming will be free to those volunteering as helpers at the feedstation, OSB will take the names from the list.  Anyone who wants to swim needs to check they have an OSB account by next Friday 21st  (if youve done one of their races you probably will), if not please create one at:  http://www.onestepbeyond.org.uk/users/create_account.php
OSB will then tie up the names on the list we submit with those with accounts and add them 'free' to the respective events.

Camping - those people on the camping list will be registered with the campsite and given free entry when they arrive.

It was either that or '999'

Not that I have the faintest idea what mine is either

Barlos - that sounds like we need to enter the swim we want to do and complete it but not pay and they will then set it to paid. Does that sound right to you?
