trogs.the feed station is the first one at 16 miles........

the route is different to last year.we do the southern route first.then the northern one and then the southern one.

so anyone trying to get to the feed station after the swim will have to get past all the cyclists

SA 48 hours are dreadful but think positive you still have time to heal or what about a last minute relay and someone doing the swim for you???

Yes, but the majority will have been on the bike course for 30mins or so by the time I'm ready to leave so the bit going away from HPP will be fairly clear.  After that I don't intend to follow the bike route and reckon there's only a couple of miles where I'll be sharing the road with the competitors.

Or that's the plan anyway

Barlos/Schmunks - can you ask for the Wimbledon final to be moved to Monday evening so that I can watch it please? Its the first final I will have missed for 20 years. Its not too much to ask and much easier than arranging the weather surely.

Question: Who has the signs & flags??

I'm assuming we will be wanting to put them on display! Fter all we need to have something there to keep the Coach occupied while the rest of us get on with the work!!

Think you've answered your own question Sis, Barlos I think has all the gear.

30/06/2013 at 09:35

ok, will be my first time on a feed station, is there anything I need to bring apart from myself?

30/06/2013 at 09:36

Food, water for yourself, sun cream, well tuned voice box for "Arrrggghhhhing" and a sense of humour!

In the half at the run feed station they had them cut in half unpeeled.

special needs bags we put out in race number order last year so it's easy for you to find, and yes bananas are cut in half

30/06/2013 at 16:20

EP - last year the special needs was with the PSOF feed station (but don't know where it is this year).

I put all the bags in numerical order on the ground after the Feed Station.  Luckily for me, I had Major Disaster turn up and he oversaw the Special Needs for me and was able to find the bags and hand them over.

That's not to say it will be with PSOF Feed this year or that it will operate in the same way

yes the special needs is at the pirate one...I wish it was at the one at 63 instead of at 80 odd miles and 16 as 16 is yoo early and 80 too late.........never mind I will also have a bottle of gels there ready to pour into my bike bottle........hopefully the table will be in the shade
