Well, I do believe it the same ol' Schmunks/Barlos roadshow.  I do the donkeywork and he takes the credit

Where's your weather updates then, I was being proactive in case anyone wondered what the forecast was looking like

Barlos - my duties are over.  I got you to where you are today, so that you could fanny around with weather updates

It's all yours for the glory-hunting now

Mrs SA is down for the 3K swim, thanks to Schmunks and Barley.

The usual thing is to watch the start then go the feed station, if you wait till anyone is out of the swim you will find it difficult in all the bike traffic.

Its looking like I will have to join you on the feed station as well now

Oh well, it seems that OSB know who to contact when they want a job doing well ..........

They have asked what nights people will be staying at the campsite.

I have emailed you all (apologies to those not camping) to ask there, so can you either post here or reply to the email with the info.

Please could I have replies by the end of Sunday as I need to get the info to OSB as soon as poss on Monday

Cheers

I'm hoping the majority of riders will be on the northern loop when I drive out to the feed station after the swim

trogs.the feed station is the first one at 16 miles........

the route is different to last year.we do the southern route first.then the northern one and then the southern one.

so anyone trying to get to the feed station after the swim will have to get past all the cyclists

SA 48 hours are dreadful but think positive you still have time to heal or what about a last minute relay and someone doing the swim for you???

Yes, but the majority will have been on the bike course for 30mins or so by the time I'm ready to leave so the bit going away from HPP will be fairly clear.  After that I don't intend to follow the bike route and reckon there's only a couple of miles where I'll be sharing the road with the competitors.

Or that's the plan anyway

Barlos/Schmunks - can you ask for the Wimbledon final to be moved to Monday evening so that I can watch it please? Its the first final I will have missed for 20 years. Its not too much to ask and much easier than arranging the weather surely.

Soupy there is a TV in the HPP bar I think

Question: Who has the signs & flags??

I'm assuming we will be wanting to put them on display! Fter all we need to have something there to keep the Coach occupied while the rest of us get on with the work!!
