the supporters for henley might be smaller that usual as theyt have to be split between Wales and henley as its the same day.......

That sounds painful, being split in two....is that something M...eldy does to those that disobey??

I'm swimming as part of a relay team so will hopefully be able to make my way to the feed station to help out once I'm done

Newbie question,

Would it be acceptable to wear a Pirate t-shirt for helping at the feed station, I have ordered Kit but will be saving it for my 1st IM next year.

Just wondered if I ordered a t-shirt of the PSOF website to wear on the day I wouldn't be offending anyone as I am not yet a Pirate

Toasty - wear what ever you like, there are no rules! Most of us will be in some form of Pirate garb, so feel free to join in! But remember to get your name on it

(Although in previous years we were given very brightly coloured Outlaw helpers tshirts to wear on the day)

Another popping in to say BIG thank you.

It's my 1 IM and I'll be the slow one watching the cut off time so all the support and encouragement will be hugely appreciated (and if I'm sulking a slap will be acceptable!)

Can anyone recommend a hotel or b+b to stay in on the Sat and Sun night?

01/04/2013 at 15:59

Swans Hotel -I stayed there for 3 nights last year.  It's not the plushest of hotels, but it is close to HPP and reasonably priced

Thanks Schmunkee. Just noticed that theres a campsite just over the road which loads of Pirates appear to be camping at. I might just stay there.

Shuffling - there will be loads of us camping, come and join us - we'll probably grab a 'Pirate' area again

Rafiki - That sounds like a great idea! Do we just turn up with our tent or do we have to book? Is there a pub nearby?
