Good to meet fellow shipmates today. Batty Hattie, Pingu, Seren sorry I didn't see you after but I looked my keys inside my car and had to get RAC out. Not what you need after 4hr Tri. Never mind all sorted.

Great race yesterday, weather was (relatively) kind to us, too.  A sheep nearly got me on the Blorenge.  Vicious things.  Nice to see you again Pingu and Seren, timebikes sorry we didn't get to say Hi. Sounds like a new run course at least next year.

Great to see the Pirates out in force yesterday. IronScribe they'll never let you be a Pirate if you get terrorised by sheep! Something for one of your books perhaps.

Timebike, I was the idiot up & down transition all day, did give you a shout. Its Blorens for the Welsh, I believe & The British is named after The British Iron Company foundry that stood at the bottom of that climb many years ago.

Still cant get over Serens episode with the car keys. The conversation you had with your fellow swimmer in transition was funny. About what idiot would drop car keys in a pool, Oh they look like mine. Oh they are mine !

Really enjoyed working with the Y Fenni Tri club crew, think we are handing on the race into a safe pair of hands. They did exceptionally well considering none had race crew experience prior to yesterday. it was a steep learning curve but they more than coped with it. Dont think I've finished with the race yet either. Lets see what discussions lead to over the next few months. Should be interesting.

'it was a steep learning curve'

Everything about this race is steep.  Even the swim was uphill into a headwind.

Slugs, I agree, Y Fenni and the marshals did a wonderful job, as did the more experienced race organisers
