I've signed up for this too. I blame my friend Rupert for talking me into it. It seemed like a good idea then.
So how's the training going then? Mine's not going too well, partly due to runners knee and the physio limiting the amount of training I can do. I think I can do the swim and the bike; it's just the run I am scared of.
I looked at the run course this morning. Does the four laps include the run in and out of the start field each lap? That looks rather twisty. I see the course is as flat as possible. Do you run up a trail and then turn back and run back down the same trail, or is there another trail that runs parallel?
Another thing I was wondering about is how dark it would be if we were having a mare of a race, and were still running after 14 hours or so.
