Hi all,

Just spotted this thread. I've got some old Profile bars kicking around that I haven't used for years and am not likely to use again (as MTBs are more my thang now).

I could bring them along to the next social (or the cuzza on Wednesday). They are quite narrow though so might not suit if you have v.wide shoulders or aren't very flexible.

Anyone interested?

FB is in da house

Chaos - would be interested but unlikely to be at next social. as you know I am not narrow shouldered so how do you think I would get on with them??

e-mail if you want to go off line on this

:-) you were actually in mind when I pointed out they were narrow!

I could measure them up when I get home this evening and post the dimensions... They don't seem to sell the same model anymore so i can't just point you to the equivalent on wiggle I'm afraid.

what model are they? and how old...? do they not have elbow pad adjustment on them?

damn Chaos - I was hoping they were a pair of carbon fibre Strykes!!! let me know but if you want to get rid of it would be worth having as a tryout I guess......

my carbon strykes are V sthexeth...!!!

just love going down on them...

no such luck!!

Black aluminium U-shape with non-adjustable elbow pads. V.light as so basic. Can't remember the model name off-hand, probably about 8 years old! I think they must have been amongst the first models to come out before they got all fancy with carbon and adjustable bits...

sound a bit like the early century ones...(?)

I reckon FB will be ok, just need to be set up ok with stem length, rise etc...
