Well done Chrissie! - For services to Ironman Triathlon.

Interesting they included "ironman" in there.

That's excellent news.

I'm not sure I like the distinction they've made by making it 'for services to ironman triathlon'.  Fair enough, the vast majority of her success has been at the distance, but she's won other long distance races (including the ITU world champs and the Alp D'uez Tri) and set the fastest time for the distance at Roth, which technically isn't part of the brand.

IIRC Paula Radcliffe's awards were for services to athletics, rather than marathon running.

That's good news, thoroughly deserved.

Well done, she's still too skinny though!

Good on her.

I've read other people say she is too thin - can't see it myself - she's hardly skinny for an endurance athlete.

agreed well done Chrissie, but I'm not sure I completely like the fact they said for services to Ironman Triathlons as Dave said.

It would have better saying it was for services to triathlon and the charities she supports.

And for having a lovely smile!

Jolly glad to see we are passing judgement on someone's appearance when they are a) a professional athlete b) just been awarded an MBE c) a complete stranger.

Good work!
