I think the banana/carrot cake may have magical properties....had a slice this afternoon and managed to knock a minute off my average mile times, with a negative split on a threshold run this evening....either that, or it's a fluke. May have to eat more cake to decide.

As I couldn't eat the cake I made the most of 'testing' the macarpone/cream/Tia Maria frosting. Slathered on top of lemon cookies

There was no likelihood of me working off the calories thanks to DOM infested thighs. I tested a forefoot strike and my legs objected
