Picked up some cycling trousers for the commute to work - not certain of the size though so they might be going back tomorrow!

Thanks for the heads up

Not so sure about the 3/4 trousers. Found the chamois extremely uncomfortable on my ride home yesteday and that was only 40 minutes. They may be a commuting work pair only I think - which still isnt bad for the cost!

have to say I am quite impressed by the quality of the bike stand - seems pretty robust on assembly. will give it a go at the w/e as I need to change the bar tape on my training bike.....

took a trip to my nearest one - no cycling glasses in peterborough, and all the legs were L or XL which would have been fine a year ago. has anyone seen the glasses this year - just so i know if they are available.

Picked up the last two bike stands last night. Haven't tried them yet, though.

I managed to get a bike stand, seems really good, but as I will be leaving it to Mr Steady to use as he is my mechanic, what do I know. Another job for the weekend, clear a bit of space in garage for it.

Lidl are doing some bike clothing and kit this week, just thought you'd like to know, as we all love a bargain, and the kit is typically good value for money!

 Cheers Gladys

I've been on the hunt for some glasses for a while but haven't seen them at all in my local Lidl.

I picked up a bike stand from Lidl Stores today,

Basingstoke Road
Whitley
Reading
Berkshire RG2 0JA

They have fourteen left!

Used it this afternoon, they are good quality and worth at least double the price.

Meldy.... with a bike stand?! Bliddy hell, what you gonna do with it?!

Use it to cunningly cut my brake cables?!

Don't tell me you're actually going to try and service YOUR bike when you can run over to Bassy and have him do a proper job on it?!

B - we went early last Thursday and they had loads so clearly "some" GWR bikers were on the ball!

used it yesterday - and bearing in mind I was tightening crank bolts so putting some effort into that, it didn't move. so far impressed.

Melds - I looked in my local one and they didn't have any I'm afraid
