I could not do it, I had to be in work for 6pm Suday evening plus I worked until 6pm on the Saturday evening, I did a 100M TT instead.

No, not doing the Dragon ride, I'm riding the Welsh 50M TT champs, and supposed to be tapering

Nam, the bike is mostly climbing. If you can sit back and churn away you will get round.

Looks a lot of fun Pebble, we stayed in Cymmer when we went down for some mountain biking in January, there's a great pub up in the village that gets lively about 2am. The race is the same weekend as Norseman so won't be around but am down your way the next two weekends for the Dragon Ride and Xterra again. I guess you won't be doing Xterra if you are doing IM France the next day?!

Yep, you are right there Rich, would have liked to have done Xterra again tho, would have used a lighter bike this time, a hardtail would have been a better choice what with all that climbing. The Dragon ride goes about half mile past my house, the climbs I know very well, every time I ride I either go up the Bwlch or the Rhigos so I know them all too well.

A venture into the dark for me as an injury-prone marathon runner having a go at a tri. Looking forward to it, especially as originally from good old Port Talbot. All tips welcome. Currently, swimming around 2 miles a week, cycling around 80 mpw and after 4 months off, have started running agin this past week.
