Anybody had anything snap, crack, explode on the bike. Thought this may raise a smile if we add our 'moments'

One that sticks in my mind was a pair of Cinelli bars shearing near the stem whilst out on a Liverpool Century chaingang near Daresbury. Luckily, and by the grace of god I stayed upright. In trying to gain control, I am told I resembled a rip-rap on Nov 5th. Even luckier more me, the late Ken Hill of Liverpool Mercury fame was on my wheel and took evasive action, otherwise things could have been so much worse.

I think this is a one off as far as Cinelli bars go????? cause I've ridden then since I was 15 and that was many years ago.

My cycling mishaps are all down to human error rather than equipment failure.

Oh yes :)

Many years ago in a race (criterion) I ruined my back wheel. Tried to accelerate after a turn and 12 spokes popped. Had to get a new wheel. Too much power :)
