As long as she doesn't just throw all your stuff outside - wouldn't want the bike getting wet!! Priorities and all!

EEK....now I'm worried, might have to leave work early

Does Outlaw sell out quickly. Still can't decide whether to enter

Sold out in early December last year and they released a few more places to those on the waiting list.

I'll be suprised if it's not sold out not long into November this year.

Aiming for 85 mins, will be a big increase of 5 mins on my PB

Nice one, reckon you'll manage that if you try and stick to a mins per mile pace.

BBT - wow, well done

brit - if you are happy with your current trainers, just order some online. Start fitness are good and pretty quick at dispatching stuff

Well done Yank. Great result, great write up. Smart medal as well

Only one problem with my medal. It says half-iron distances on the back. They're "working on it." haha

outlaw has 517 places gone already - I appear to be one of them.

Sooooooo how do I stop myself from being a pig and start being an Iron Pixie instead?

Yank I think that is a common problem, you are not the first to mention that at IM !

Well done on the race btw .. cracking effort

Get in to a schedule you can maintain until December the whateverth. 2 x swim, 2 x run, 2 x bike. Then start to build a la Fink/Gordo/Friel. The weight will fall off towards the end anyhow.

Very very very jealous of you all. Outlaw FOMO .

The theory is simple because it is, its planning and determination that lets most (me included) down

annoyingly I don't actually eat badly as such just too damn much and too often and now it's a stupid habit meaning I eat without even thinking about it.

All I do know is that this Outlaw will be a hell of a lot easier with less of the lard to carry about
