Get in to a schedule you can maintain until December the whateverth. 2 x swim, 2 x run, 2 x bike. Then start to build a la Fink/Gordo/Friel. The weight will fall off towards the end anyhow.


Very very very jealous of you all. Outlaw FOMO .

On weight loss, i'm down to 13st 9lbs today. A 2st 5lb loss for the year.

Got my 480 mile cycle event next week so that should shift a bit more blubber

foot update - Dr was useless and podiatrist today a bit more encouraging - suggested it was a muscle strain and after a little modification to my orthotic reckoned icing, massage and rolling on a tennis ball might do the trick in time for GNR on Sun. We'll see - a bit reassured that it was not anything serious ... Fingers crossed, then ??

SD - 480 miles is one helluva sportive??!

IY that's a great write-up, sounds like an interesting race.  Pity about the mechanical, but that's out of anyone's control I guess.  Good job, mate.
