I've been thinking about those for the winter, Will.  How long are the sessions?

broke....do you fancy doing a bike ride sometime...

the sufferfest downloads are MASSIVE. if you're lucky enough to live somewhere with good broadband speeds then you should be ok.  if you aren't (like me) then it takes HOURS to download - just a though before you run off and purchase. oh, and make sure that you're PC is upto playing them too, think they use a lot of memory.

thanks WW, OH says he will be able to put them onto dvd for me so I can play them via the telly rather than faffing with the laptop

turbo wheel/tyre was fine, didn't need to worry. I think sometimes I do the quick release spindle thing up too tight. I really need to learn the names of all the bits of the bike....

Seren

Ye would be geat to have someone to ride with, when were you thinking? I have Cardiff half this weekend then I am pretty much free for a month without any training plans, Fri, Sat, Sun would be best for me.

By the looks of the weather I think I need to get some winter riding gear...that or I need to HTFU.

BBT you'll be ok mate - the amount of hot air that comes out Seren's mouth will keep you warm!

Even if she sits at the other end you'll still hear her!

Enjoy Cardiff BBT. I'm still unsure whether to do it.

Sea swim, I suppose? And no hills in North Norfolk?

10/10/2012 at 07:16
Sea swim definite. There are actually some cheeky hills along the coast. One of the Uk's top 100 cycling climbs is in West Runton. For the best part one would expect it to be flat though.
Ive not seen any routes or other details yet.

after a sleeples night .... I failed to get up for my early morning swim

10/10/2012 at 09:01

Morning all - back on it after a week off post HM. Fink and swim smooth books digested and a training plan in place to officially commence monday. I took 16 weeks of the competitive Fink plan and merged it with my tried and tested beginner 16 week full marathon run plan. Rearranged all the days to suit my work shifts and added the swim and cycle parts from the fink plan. By the time I've completed it (at the end of January) I will be 2 weeks off the part where Fink timetables an olympic distance triathlon. I've booked on the Manchester Marathon in April and plan to do the 100mile nottinghamshire bike ride in July... leaving me plenty of time to improve my swimming and try some triathlon distances in the spring/summer time. My only issue is - I don't have the ability to complete even the first Fink swim drill.. so I suppose that can be my long term swim goal! Need a bike, wetsuit, turbo trainer, cadence monitor, sport counter...etc. from Santa

Just been for a run.  On holiday in the Highlands this week and it is a stunningly beautiful place to be.  Weather is fab too.
When am I going to remember that I always hate the first 15 minutes of a run?
