MC - just keep going. Don't think about 26 miles, just focus on the next one or two. You'll do it

Great training everyone.

2nd run in my half marathon training tonight.

Swam 1.3 miles, all FC last night. Still slow but still doing FC

Used the bike for work two days in a row now. Knee is holding up fine. Will go for a longer ride on Saturday.

Now signed up for a 40+ off road cycle at the end of the month. Couldnt resist. Did the 25 mile version last year & thoroughly enjoyed it.

Heres the link if any Norfolkers fancy it.

WW - I am doing Rutland Water. 7 hour cut off so I should get round in time.

hopefully I will have the energy for a swim tonight, but the lane swim doesn't start till 6:50, so might be huddled under the duvet by then....

Well done Postie! Is it a nice course? Three weeks to mine and I've screwed my ankle in!!

fab course, flat as a flat thing on a flat day! and loads of sgiths to look at. The best bit is it's not too busy unlike VLM.

Mathschick I did Rutland the first year, I rember it well, it is really quite hilly. If you have a camelbak then I would use it...my best advice

Spoons did town moor a few years back it's cool and friendly but check the weather for the day. The route is slightly exposed if there is bad weather and chuffing snowed when I did it. Basically have some warm clothes handy for the end and if your lucky enough to see wildwill there if he's running give him and his better half a big hug.

Note to self - do not bend over to pick something up from the bathroom floor when there is a red hot towel rail behind you.  Cycling tomorrow may be more uncomfortable than anticipated

Sorry I should have been clearer. I'm at town moor marathon but I'm not running it. I'm supporting loads of other people (mostly from these forums) who are there. WildWill - be good to meet up. I think I'm beng roped into manning a drink/gel station en route if interested? We'll be in the pub afterwards although you'll probably be in the gym.....

In case you're wndering why I'm not running, I am working with a marathon coach until Brighton next April and I have agreed to do whatever he tells me to do, which was basically "stop f***ing around and start training properly." No marathons, no ultras, no triathlons, no pizza, no getting drunk *yawns*

At least I now know what the ink would look like if I had some colour put in it.  So long as it's red.

Spoons, I admire your dedication
