I'm in for the 1/2 outlaw as well,I was going to do Bala but with the cost of petrol, hotel etc i may as well go local. Back to just Tri training now and my first dip in the pool since the Vit and like Holgs, brick springs to mind!

Going to have to miss half Outlaw. Dosent fall right on the Fink plan for IMUK , moneys a bit tight till payday anyway & looks like it will sell out before then.

Will - ur a machine but ever so slightly Obsessive, I can say this as I am one too BUT u need to rest mate, if you're sick you won't be going yourself any favours by not listening to the body - hope u recover quick

Well my patheticness for this evening is another scheduled b4stard of a weights session, a hilly 8 mile ride and about an hours fast walking with the missus this evening

Gas, its only a week out. Finances are the main reason for not signing up.

I need to reign in the spending for 2013. Everythings sorted for IMUK, accomodation etc paid. I'm only going to do the one olympic and middle distance on top of IM next year. Will probably do great barrow challenge again as well.

Would like to find tri's that don't involve shelling out on gallons of petrol and accomodation. May turn out i just do my own.

SD, Gas, Outlaw half falls OK for IMUK, but there are other halfs within a couple of weeks of that which are probably cheaper.  I would've done Outlaw if it was possible date-wise, but returning from France that weekend.  Maybe Grafman now, or Bala.

I will be attending the coached swim session tonight with COLT - I expect it will be frustrating and painful.

Did a 9 mile run last night, turned my ankle but thankfully feels ok this morning. Did an hour on the bike before work.

 You MUST REST.  It is nothing to feel bad about.  It is just as important as any other aspect of training. 
If you don't rest, I will come round to your house and nurse you myself, and believe me that's to be dreaded waaaay more than not training.

The lack of sleep I mentioned a few posts back is taking it's toll. I am absolutely knackered.  So, having had my rest day yesterday, I have decided to have another rest day today.  I'm not working tonight so the plan is no coffee, no alcohol, a relaxing bath and an early night with some of my knock-me-out lavendar and geranium balm. 
Keep your fingers crossed for me.  If I don't get a decent night's sleep soon I might go a bit "Falling Down".

I'm going to tri club for the first time tomorrow night, and am really looking forward to it
