MeldyMentor; train with pain

I swam tonight for the first time this week. Back in Liechtenstein, and I know the town quite well. Rode the hotel gym bike after the swim for 45 minutes. Tomorrow morning I will investigate the running track I found tonight.

Then home. w00p!

I never sleep well after tri club.

for me it's an hour of running speed work which i'm not used to then an hours swim. I enjoy it a lot but with a 10pm finish I find my legs a bit twitchy when I try to sleep afterwards, just given up and thought id go on the puter for a bit before trying again.

actually due to travel with work tonight was first time back at tri club for several weeks, ive been training loads in the meantime and noticed a good improvement in relation to others at the club who I run with.

 yes, especailly as im not new to running, its the additional swimming and cycling thats doing it, my weights coming off too, another few months and I should no longer be a fatman.

Morning All,

An hour speed session in the pool last night nearly killed me. Decided I'd have an easy day today, so out at 5.30am for a 10 mile run. Teaching from 9-5 solid and then a run home tonight.

I don't think I'll have any trouble sleeping.

Nice work Holgs, sounds like you have an easy day planned .

Still recovering from half marathon escapades last Sun, legs are still tight.

Went swimming last night to loosen them, was told that not allowed to use any training aids so looks like I need to find a new pool.

Whats the clue M.elds?

BBT - no training aids at all? I know somw pools don't allow paddles, but yours sounds a bit extreme.

Will - it's better you're ill now than next week. It will give you an enforced taper too which will help your marathon.
