Evening all. 3.4 mile run tonight, 20 ish mile bike yesterday. Have to be careful or i may slip back into regular training.

My leg shaving is done for the winter. Must confess to actually liking having smooth legs, also found it quite therapeutic doing it as well

Waxing is a bit gay though, at least i did mine with a belt sander to keep some manliness in the process.

Meh. Wax on, angle-grind off. Don't overtrain!

ha ha I know all about that walk/race....nope never going to do it, saw how it wrecked several people ( inc Dad ) over the years. Lots of people keep trying to get me to do it with them, not a chance.

Of course it is - I've ran a bit of it as support for someone that was racing.

Recommendations please for overshoes to stop my tootsies freezing off on the bike.

I use Endura Neoprene overshoes - these

keep my feet dry in all conditions and very warm, combine them with merino wool socks and never had a problem with the cold.

Beasting in the pool again last night, off for a 5 mile run lunchtime.  And ordered overshoes and gloves so I can get my ass on the bike over the Winter!

Pontypool Home Run on 24th Feb, that'll be my 10k test.

DTT - where abouts are you? By the sounds of it you are Suth Wales based?
05/12/2012 at 16:30

Nurse I use overshoes from Lidls or Aldi with a pair of Merino socks.

I believe that DTT is based around Abergavenny, there are a few of us South Wales based, I am near Brecon. Are you around South Wales Rocco?
