Thanks for the support!  At a hotel in an area I don't ever run and went out to run to clear my head and such. Ended up running right past the funeral home.  I don't think it was an accident.  I'll be remembering the good times today.

Wk 6 D 2 .... And Another solid one for me today

AM
- Swim ... 1mile continuous at an easy pace

LUNCH TIME
- Run .. 40min Laps around the local park

PM
- 2hrs 15min spin ... Including 2 back-to-back RPM classes

Felt good

Not much to comment about Boston, words just fail me. Thoughts with the victims, families and friends.

The looting thing has just peeved me off even more, how low can people get.

Not doing any training myself this week, hoping to get legs right for sunday. Feeling fat, lazy & demotivated today

Andy, I'm having a very light week too, partly cos of lots on, partly feeling a bit washed out.  But as my splendid mentor said, it'll do more good than bad!

Cheers pal.

Calfs are feeling a lot better today, although one now has a nice bruise come up. I think from a bit too much hard rollering.

Will stop that now and just continue with deep heat and gentle massaging now. Also going to stop taking Ibruprofen, been on it pretty much constantly for 3 weeks and think it's causing some stomach aches now

Evening all hope training is going well for everyone

Wk 6 D 3 for me ...

AM
- gym brick ... As 3 x (10min spin + 5min run)
- stretching

PM
- 12.3mile run ... Managed almost 40secs/mile faster than last week
- 50mins recovery swim ... Slow paced 200, 400, 600, 400, 200

I take it 3 weeks was not good then? Had non today, gone with a couple of light deep heat massages instead. To be honest, doesnt feel any worse for not taking ibruprofen
