However, I think i need to be a little quicker next time out the stocks and no i'm not fekkin' doing wales before anyone suggests it...

Sweden sounds nice

absolutely correct on the gas though! WTF is going on with my body, it's all that nutrition stuff isn't it? Slowly killing me from within

I'm not so sure Frag. I have a mental picture which is combining go-go and Gas, and it's making me feel slightly

I'm reacquainting myself with the lovely Ms Wellington, and have been on the turbo for the past few evenings. Today I went for a short run and tried one of her Run Faster interval sets for the first time. Really liked it, and it certainly made the (short) time pass more quickly than usual.  I think my running mojo has stopped being in the huff and has finally come back

Good news Nursey, I seem to be able to walk unhindered again so that's a positive! Supposed to riding the crosser tomorrow, she's ready I'm not sure I am but we'll see soon enough

Testing was relatively routine and didn't blow a gasket so that's good news

Been trying to work out what/how to focus on... I've pulled out Relentless Forward Progress to read and perhaps the runner in me might reappear

Ok Gas, listen carefully and pay attention. Please don't make me use my nurse voice. I know you're an Ironlabrat, and will have comittments there, but FFS have a rest

Best put in a plastic bag, Gas, so as not to corrupt the innocent young minds who frequent the thread.

I like the fact he says its a new bike he built - but the photos appear to have been taken in something that's looks suspiciously like a shop ....... mmmmmmm

Wow Raf, you may have a point there.  On closer inspection, I see that the figure in the background adopting the masculine He-Man pose might not be Gas in his well-stocked garage after all.  Must get to Specsavers

Your right it can't be Gas they arn't wearing a kilt?

15/10/2013 at 13:23

Wales is calling you, Gas .... Wales ... Wales ...

15/10/2013 at 13:55

Either that's a mannequin in the photos or Gas is going after Gladys' title!

I have a bike shop run by a friend about 300 yds from the house.... we had a bike shop lock in with some large bottles of peroni

My bank manager has written to me and asked if would consider moving house as apparently my average bank balance has declined significiantly since Steve decided to open the shop near my house... on the flip side Steve's bank manager thinks it was a great idea for Steve to open in such proximity to a very easy target!

So in short it should be the bike I built with a little help from my very able friends

(one of three bikes built this year...)

note my BMC has also metamorhpisized...

Frame - same

Group Set - Dura Ace shifters, ultegra derailleurs, ultegra brakes, rotor crank and Q rings, shimano carbon pedals, Bontrager RXL Carbon Brake levers

Base & Tri Bars - Profile design carbon

Wheels - Spin Carbon SSC50's with gold hubs

Seatpost - same

Seat - Dash carbon saddle and elite rear cage

So bascially, it's got the frame and nearly everything stripped off it was used to build the cross bike, some other bits have been sold or given to new homes and I still have  some bits I haven't manage to re-use in another project yet
