Afternoon Fatpeeps, how the devil are you all?

Get the coffee on SD - double espresso for me please.

Have just been on my bike for the first time in AAAAAAAAAGES.  But it was silly windy so I put the turbo outside on the deck and spent some time with Chrissie.  Don't think the sheep knew quite what to make of it!

Hello, hope everyone is well.

i had had plans to do the coffee at numerous sporting events but then had an offer offer of a market pitch Saturday & Sunday from April onwards. It was an all or nothing offer so ive had to go with the markets as opposed to a couple of events each month.

Hope that works out for you SD

(Still waiting on my double espresso … )

No training for me today but I have made bread, so that counts as an upper body workout.

It does if I can claim it as well. err I'll just hide the bread machine through.

Lifting the bread machine out of the cupboard counts Cake.

Smug me - I made mine all by hand

I would do but that limit's the time I have to eat cheese and drink tea.

Just watched a good mate cross the line at IM NZ.  I'm feeling all inspired.  Should probably let the pancakes and bacon settle before I do anything too energetic.

What are everyone's race plans for this year?

Start when the gun goes off and finish before the clock does

Hello ladies, hope your well.

No race plans for me this year, Wish i had time to even ride my bike, working 24/7 at the minute. Once i get into a regular routine should be able to get back to training for something.

I'll swap you a leg wax for free coffee.

SHORTS ?! I went out for my run in long tights, long sleeved top, jacket, hat and gloves.

I went out on my bicycle yesterday.  First time outdoors since the autumn .  Beautiful day, cycled for 1¼ hours, and was reminded in no uncertain terms that, "if you don't use it you lose it"!  Really enjoyed myself, but some bits felt much harder than they should have.  The saddle, for starters.
Swimming is slightly more encouraging.  Did some timed 100m on Monday and have speeded up by 10 seconds since I last timed myself. Happy days

Haha, well done Nursey.

Agree about the saddle. My ass has been killing me after my first few rides recently.

On the plus side, got my training mojo back

Oh, i signed up for the Norwich Half Marathon. One of the few events thats on when i wont be working this year.

Need to find a cycling sportive now
